What and where do we store?
Our warehouse network covers the whole country. We currently have around 140,000 square metres of versatile warehouse space – and we are constantly expanding our operations. Our facilities store everything from small items to food, from amusement park equipment to lubricants, and from car tyres to large and hard-to-handle components. We have the best professionals in the business, versatile facilities, and a wide range of machinery to safely handle shipments no matter their size or weight.
Services that adapt to your needs
Our range of warehouse services can be flexibly adapted to our customers’ needs, seasonal fluctuation, and changes to order books. By outsourcing your warehousing needs to us, you will free up your own space for other uses, such as your own production – and know in real time what’s in stock at any given time. In addition to operational activity, our experts help develop logistics and warehouse processes.
Our trained professionals can also work at our customers’ premises to handle inhouse logistics tasks. We also have the opportunity to acquire or build new premises as required.
Our warehouse services:
Real-time inventory management and stocktaking
We carry out optimised and real-time inventory accounting, monitor its status, and report to the customer as agreed. We inventory products according to customer requirements.
For inventory management, we can use either your company’s or Kaukokiito’s WMS, or we can integrate these systems with one another. You can always monitor and manage your stock levels in real time. The integration allows you to automate e.g. sales orders, which serves to streamline your processes and reduce manual work. The integrations also make order processing faster, which naturally speeds up deliveries as well.
Receiving, checking and shelving goods
We unload incoming loads, and receive, inspect and document the arriving goods. We shelve your products in the correct storage locations according to instructions. Stock balances are automatically updated as stock transactions take place – so you can monitor your stock balances in real time. If necessary, we will also file possible complaints to suppliers.
Collecting, packing and dispatching orders
We collect your stocked products according to your orders. We package your products properly, carefully and safely according to customer-specific packaging requirements. We handle the appropriate markings and documentation. We take care of shipments and loading according to customer requirements and schedules.
Warehouse optimisation
We analyse and optimise the use of storage space, aiming for efficiency and fulfilling customer needs. The collected data allows us to jointly develop, optimise and streamline the storage process. We offer flexible space arrangements e.g. for seasonal fluctuation.
Order processing
We receive, check and process orders according to customer wishes. We can either use our customers’ systems directly or integrate the data flow between our own and the customer’s systems. The customer always has access to real-time data.
Versatile storage solutions
We have versatile storage facilities for products of different sizes and types. We also offer temperature-controlled space for storing sensitive or perishable products.

Product labelling and markings
We label and mark the products as agreed. For example, we apply bar codes and campaign stickers.
Distribution and transport coordination
We schedule and route product distribution according to customer needs. We are seamlessly connected to the Kaukokiito transport services.
Product assembly and post-processing
We do product pre-assembly, such as kitting and accessory fitting. We handle product quality control and any post-processing tasks.
Managing reusable packaging material
We collect, process and store returnable packaging materials.
Reporting and analytics
We provide customer-specific reports and analyses to improve storage and logistics efficiency. We develop forecasting models to optimise storage and transport.
