Kaukokiito sponsorships
Through our sponsorships and charity work, we support organisations that promote diversity, equality, and the individual’s right to exercise and play – regardless of their background. Our sponsorship work is not random: our sponsorships always support Kaukokiito’s strategic objectives and brand development. We do not provide sponsorships to political parties, religious movements, or any other entities whose activities conflict with our strategy or sustainability objectives.
At the moment, we are not actively looking for new sponsorship opportunities, but we follow closely what is happening in the field.
What moves us?
We support Finnish sports at the event, team and individual levels, both locally and nationally throughout the country. We are the official transport and logistics partner of the Finnish Athletics Federation, and with our support, we enable the operational conditions for athletes. Through the partnership, steeplechaser Topi Raitanen and hammer thrower Silja Kosonen are Kaukokiito brand ambassadors for Team Finland’s athletics team.
We work with the Finnish Paralympic Committee, whose rented sports equipment and sports aids are transported by Kaukokiito without any limitations imposed by disability, diagnostic or organisational restrictions. For us, this is a concrete way to engage everyone in the joys of physical activity.
Movement is a way
of life for us
We also support many local sports clubs – ice hockey, football, volleyball, basketball and baseball – across Finland. Movement is a way of life for us.
But our support is not limited to elite sports. It’s important to us that mobility is everyone’s right – including those just starting out on their journey. As a family-owned transport chain, supporting physical activity for children and young people is particularly important to us. Through our Team Kake sponsorship programme, we support the hobbies of our staff’s children and grandchildren.
