Initial assessment of inhouse logistics
We review the current state of your inhouse logistics, analyse process efficiency, and map potential problem areas.
Real-time inventory management and stocktaking
We carry out optimised and real-time inventory accounting, monitor its status, and report to the customer as agreed. We inventory products according to customer requirements.
For inventory management, we can use either your company’s or Kaukokiito’s WMS, or we can integrate these systems with one another. You can always monitor and manage your stock levels in real time. The integration allows you to automate e.g. sales orders, which serves to streamline your processes and reduce manual work. The integrations also make order processing faster, which naturally speeds up deliveries as well.
Receiving, checking and shelving goods
We unload incoming loads, and receive, inspect and document the arriving goods. We shelve your products in the correct storage locations according to instructions. Stock balances are automatically updated as stock transactions take place – so you can monitor your stock balances in real time. If necessary, we will also file possible complaints to suppliers.
Collecting, packing and dispatching orders
We collect your stocked products according to your orders. We package your products properly, carefully and safely according to customer-specific packaging requirements. We handle the appropriate markings and documentation. We take care of shipments and loading according to customer requirements and schedules.
Warehouse optimisation
We analyse and optimise the use of storage space, aiming for efficiency and fulfilling customer needs. The collected data allows us to jointly develop, optimise and streamline the storage process. We offer flexible space arrangements e.g. for seasonal fluctuation.
Component delivery to the assembly line
We deliver the components essential for production from storage to the production lines according to the customer’s requirements and schedules. We restock the small items needed for production.
