Scam messages have been sent in the name of Kaukokiito, informing recipients of an alleged incoming shipment. These messages have been sent to private individuals, for example to people who have purchased products via the tori.fi service. The scam messages contain a fabricated tracking link and demand that the shipment be paid for in advance, combined with threats about the consequences of an unpaid invoice. The tracking link directs users to a site called kaukokiito(.)info, which is not a Kaukokiito website.
