Kaukokiito Partial and full loads

Kaukokiito Partial and full loads is an environmentally-friendly and economical solution for all your shipments that are over 3,000 kg or over 9 m³. We pick up the shipment from a desired address and deliver it directly to the recipient across the country.

Transport large batches directly to the recipient

Your shipment will usually be delivered on the next business day following the pickup to the address marked in the parcel label or waybill. In the pickup and destination points, an appropriate loading platform, a forklift or unloading equipment is required. The shipment can be picked up or delivered also with, for example, a crane, as an additional service.

Order	Orders must be placed by 10 a.m. on the day of collection (max. 12,000 kg and less than 7 m/package). Larger shipments must be ordered by 1 p.m. on the day before collection.

Dimensions and weight

The Partial and full load shipment weighs more than 3,000 kg or is larger than 9 m³. The shipment goes mainly directly from the sender to the recipient. Read more about freighting the shipment.

Each parcel should be packaged safely and they must be suitable for processing by machine. The shipment including several parcels must be packed on a pallet or on another approved transport carrier.

Ordering and pricing

The Kaukokiito Partial and full load service can be ordered via Kaukoputki or via other electronic order portals. A partial load (3,000–12,000 kg or max. 7 m parcels) must be ordered on the pickup day by 10:00 a.m., in order to be picked up during the same day.

A larger transport batch (over 12,000 kg or 7–13 m parcels) must be ordered on the day before the pickup day by 1:00 p.m. The shipment is picked up on the following business day after the ordering according to the schedule book or, if agreed separately, already on the ordering day.

The price of the shipment is formed during the ordering process and it is based on the transported distance and on the shipment’s freighting weight. Fee-based additional services can be ordered for the Partial and full loads. Please note that the carrier reserves the right to correct the freighting weight.

Pick-up and delivery

A shipment including parcels under 12,000 kg and under 7 m long ordered electronically before 10:00 a.m. is picked up during the same day. Other Partial and full loads are picked up on the following business day or, if agreed separately, on the ordering day.
