Kaukoputki is best suited as a booking channel for companies whose daily shipment volumes usually remain below ten. However, as a supply chain management tool, it provides comprehensive information and functionality also for our customers who order their transport through another service – offering e.g. rate calculators, tracking, documentation and invoice copies, and the ability to edit transport orders. Kaukoputki also enables tracking shipments booked over other channels.

New Kaukoputki improves the user experience
We develop Kaukoputki within our own technology unit. Our decision to keep it in-house means that our development work is firmly rooted in our customers’ real, everyday needs.
We published the updated version of Kaukoputki in May 2025. The online service’s development focused especially on improving the user experience, on providing a more intuitive interface, and on visualising information. For example, you can view shipment statuses more quickly in the new Kaukoputki. Compared to the previous version, the revised Kaukoputki added new functionalities, such as submitting claims for transport damage, viewing emission reports, and the availability of a wealth of other transport-specific data. With the new features, the online service will serve a wider range of people working in different roles in our client companies.
